Dead in the saddle
This toaster worked OK for a few weeks, then just died. It is (was) very basic, and seemed a bit overpriced. It had no adjustable thermostat, and I had to be careful not to burn stuff. Toasting was uneven, but acceptable. I'm not sure why it cost more than the B&D versions that offer the same features. It had one advantage, it did not get so hot on the outside that I considered it a hazard. Also, I wiped it down before the first use (per instructions) and did not have problems with smoking that some have described in other products made by this company.
