Perfect everything.
I was skeptical about buying a wine cooler site unseen but after comparing prices with those available at stores, this was kinda of a no-brainer. Package arrived quick and intact, thanks Amazon! I was mildly stunned when I opened the unit. I was not quite expecting something that looked as sharp as what I received. Love the stainless steel racks and handle, extremely sophisticated appearance. Not only was this considerably cheaper than than the in store models but this looked twice as good. I put the pieces together and got it running in no time.
It ran silent as one would expect for a thermoelectric and cooled down decently. Temperatures were spot on too. I was tempted to install this in cabinet but realized that the vents would require some clearance. Not a big deal as this looks great on it's own. The shelves are designed for the standard 750ml bottle but are completely removable so I can mix and match to store whatever size bottles I need to.
This far...
Does not fit all bottles
This wine cooler is designed for regular 75cl wine bottles. However, most winebottles have extended necks and especially the white wine bottles. These do not fit in the cooler and that makes this purchase almost useless for storage of white wines.
Big disappointment and not refundable!

A wine cooler with a nice look, but it has some short comings.
I just purchased the Whynter 21 Bottle Dual Temperature Zone Wine Cooler (Model #WC-211DZ) from Amazon.com. As always, there was a quick shipping time with Amazon. This wine cooler looks great. Silver, slim, and nice visual addition to any kitchen or bar area. However, in reality, there are definitely some areas that it falls short.
1. This wine cooler will fit ONLY "traditional" bottles. That means it will NOT fit Champagne bottles, sparkling wine, Muscat bottles (longer than traditional bottles), port, traditional chianti bottles, etc.
2. While this cooler holds 21 bottles, the metal racks only accommodate 18 bottles. Whynter designed this unit so that you place the last three bottles on the floor of the unit, NOT on a shelf. There is a track there for a shelf, but the unit only comes with 6 shelves (3 bottles on each) instead of the 7 shelves it should have. Not only does this not look as attractive, it makes it more cumbersome to look at the wine, as you...
