Compact fryer, does the job
The fit and finish isn't there, but it gets hot fast and cooks which is all its supposed to do. The control knob has a flimsy feel. I really like the small size, much smaller than other one's I've seen and had. Its mostly for a couple who are only cooking a few pieces for dinner or in a college dorm. I like the lid which keeps oil out of the air and on the curtains down. Getting grease buildup on the kitchen walls is why I don't deep fry on the stove top. It uses little oil (4 cups) and cleans up fast.
Don't bother with this one
Not at all what I expected. The basket is so small that it makes the fryer useless. If I want to fry just a couple pieces I can do that in a fry pan. The whole reason for a deep fryer is to be able to fry several pieces at once. I am still using a 30 year old deep fryer from Sunbeam that was discontinued years ago. I keep looking for a replacement because the power cord will not last much longer, but so far I've been unable to get anything suitable. I don't recommend this fryer.
