Bene Casa 6 Cup Automatic Rice Cooker



simple, works, safe (no non-stick plastic)
I was looking for a rice-cooker without non-stick surface. I don't believe anymore that non-stick is safe. That has been claimed so many times and later it turned out it was not right. So I try to stay away from it - not an easy task in this world!
Well, I finally found the Bene Casa rice cooker.

It works really well. My cooking abilities are at the level of Camomile tea and sandwich - so, getting (Jasmine) rice as tasty and perfect as in the best Thai restaurant, hey, that's wonderful to me! :)

Anyhow, I take the rice out of the cooker and into a glass container as soon as it's finished, so I think the aluminum pan should be ok. What I learned is, that if I poor 3cl/1oz of water onto the bottom of the pan while I am stirring the rice up after the cooking mode switched to the keep-warm mode, and then let it sit for another 3-4 minutes, all the rice comes out. Nothing sticks to the pan.
