Hamilton Beach 62632R Hand Mixer with Snap-On Case -



Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer 6 speed w/Burst
I bought this hand mixer and I absolutely love it. No smells, no problems and I have used it like a maniac over the past 2 months. This mixer has a snap on case it sits atop that keeps the beaters and whisk attachments in. It has two bowl rests on the bottom to keep from setting it out on the counter. The burst of speed button works really nice, it ups the speed by another half power probably. For cold cream cheese it just whizzes right through it. I had an old 10 speed with burst that I had for close to 25 years I guess. I am very happy with this one also. My old faithful finally gave out and the beaters would fall out but after 25 years you cannot complain. I would not buy the Food Network or any of those expensive ones, there is no need to. I don't think they have the power that these have. That is the most important to me is the power range, cost and then you get the added bonus of the snap on for the tools and mixer to set in/on. not a good choice
I just purchased the hand mixer and I was just testing it, not using food, just in the air. The mixer motor smells like it is burning up if you have it on setting #5 or 6. Also, if you use the quick burst, same scary smell. Going to return it tomorrow. Called the customer service # for hamilton beach to see if this is normal, and since the hold time was 13 minutes, I hung up. Must be better options out there.
